Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data FRV Connect Hub holds about you. This page explains what gets deleted, how to request it, and our timeline for completing your request.

To request immediate deletion of your data, email office@conectoo.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address. We will process your request within 30 days.

Your Right to Data Deletion

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 17 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPD-GDD), you have the right to request erasure of your personal data — commonly known as the "right to be forgotten". This applies when:

  • Your data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected
  • You withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing
  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
  • You close your Conectoo account
  • You have connected a Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp account to Conectoo and wish to remove all associated data

What Data We Delete

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete the following data from our systems and any sub-processors:

  • Your Conectoo account profile (name, email, password hash, settings)
  • All messages, conversations, and attachments synced from your connected Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp Business accounts
  • Contact profiles and customer data stored within the Conectoo inbox
  • Automation rules, templates, and workflow configurations you created
  • Team member data associated with your organisation account
  • Usage history and activity logs tied to your account
  • Any API tokens and third-party integration credentials
  • Billing history (subject to legal retention requirements — see Section 4)

How to Submit a Deletion Request

You can request data deletion through any of the following methods:

Option 1 — Email (recommended)
Send an email to office@conectoo.io with:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Conectoo account
  • If applicable, the Facebook App User ID or Facebook Page ID you wish to delete data for

Option 2 — Account Settings
Log into your Conectoo account, navigate to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. This will initiate an immediate account closure and data deletion workflow.

Option 3 — Phone
Call us on +34 676 291 178 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 CET) and request a data deletion. We will send written confirmation of receipt and process your request accordingly.

Deletion Timeline

We will acknowledge your deletion request within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days. Once deletion is complete, we will send you written confirmation to your email address.

For requests involving large volumes of data or requiring verification, we may extend this period by up to an additional 60 days. We will notify you within the initial 30 days if an extension is required and explain the reason.

Exceptions — Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after a deletion request where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Billing and invoicing records: retained for 7 years under Spanish tax law (Ley General Tributaria Art. 66)
  • Records of legal disputes or complaints that are ongoing or reasonably anticipated
  • Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you as an individual
  • Data required to comply with a court order, legal obligation, or regulatory requirement

We will inform you of any data we are legally required to retain and the applicable retention period.

Meta Platform Data Deletion

Conectoo accesses data from Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Business through Meta's official APIs. If you connected your Meta accounts to Conectoo and wish to remove the associated data:

  • Submit a deletion request using any of the methods in Section 3
  • We will delete all messages, contact data, and account information synced from your Meta accounts within 30 days
  • You should also revoke Conectoo's access to your Facebook account through Facebook's Apps and Websites settings at facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites
  • Revoking Meta permissions through Facebook prevents future data sync but does not automatically delete data already processed — please submit a formal deletion request to ensure complete removal

This data deletion process complies with Meta's Platform Terms regarding user data deletion obligations for Technology Providers.

Verification

To protect your privacy and prevent fraudulent deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. We may ask you to confirm details such as your account email address, recent activity, or other information that only you would know.

We will only use this information to verify your identity and will not use it for any other purpose.
